Virtual Caring for your Newborn Class

  • Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Virtual via Zoom (map)

Many people would like us all to believe that you will immediately know what to do as soon as your baby is born. As much as we wish this could be the case, caring for a baby takes skill, practice, and teaching. It's okay not to know how to change a diaper or give a baby their first bath; we can teach you! This class covers the basics of caring for a newborn, including diapering, feeding, and even caring for the umbilical stump. Anyone caring for the baby, including partners, grandparents, and older sibling, are welcome to learn together!

Facilitator: WHIN, Women’s Health Initiatives Nurses
