Like any new skill, breastfeeding takes knowledge and practice to be successful. The instructor will teach the benefits of breastfeeding, breastfeeding positions, the use of a breast pump, safe formula feeding when to switch to solids, and safe preparation of a bottle.

Paola obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. Her areas of interest were substance abuse and child abuse & neglect. However, throughout the years she has gained a passion in helping mothers and babies. Paola has worked with Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies since 2012 as a Prenatal Screener. She has several years of experience educating mothers in healthy pregnancy outcomes.
