Like any new skill, breastfeeding takes knowledge and practice to be successful. The instructor will teach the benefits of breastfeeding, breastfeeding positions, the use of a breast pump, safe formula feeding when to switch to solids, and safe preparation of a bottle.

Sara currently serves as an Outreach Educator with Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies for over three years, a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor, a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, and a Certified Medical Interpreter. Sara is passionate about helping mothers through their breastfeeding journey; the same journey she went through when she had her first child.
