Virtual Breastfeeding Class

  • Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Virtual via Zoom (map)

Many pregnant women have limited knowledge of breastfeeding and may have heard positive or negative stories related to breastfeeding from friends and family. A breastfeeding class can help you better understand how breastfeeding works, how to establish a healthy supply of breastmilk, how to help the baby latch, how to know if the baby is getting enough milk, and different breastfeeding positions. The instructor will teach the benefits of breastfeeding, breastfeeding positions, using a breast pump, safe formula feeding, when to switch to solids and safe bottle preparation. These classes aim to help moms learn breastfeeding basics to have a successful breastfeeding experience.
