In-Person Infant Safety Series: Safe Baby

More than 3,600 babies in the U.S. die suddenly and unexpectedly every year from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) or accidental deaths from suffocation or strangulation. Many of these deaths are preventable.

The term "SIDS" may sound scary, and the death of a baby is always heartbreaking. But there are many ways to lower their risk while giving your baby the best care possible.

Come and learn ways to keep your baby safe in the most fragile time of their life. This series will cover the basics of baby safety, including sleep, shaken baby, caregiver safety, and more.

Gaelle is an Outreach Education Coordinator with Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies, a Certified Lactation Counselor, and a Safe Sleep Certified Trainer. Gaelle has a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Florida. Gaelle is passionate about Maternal and child Health & Saftey.
