Virtual Caring for Newborn Class

  • Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County Virtual United States (map)

Caring for a baby takes practice and patience. It's okay to not know how to change a diaper or give a baby their first bath. We can teach you! This class covers the basics of caring for a newborn including diapering, feeding, and caring for your baby’s delicate body. Anyone caring for the baby, including partners, grandparents, and older siblings, are welcome to learn together!

Facilitated by: WHIN (Women's Health Initiative) Nurses
Working with a licensed Nutritionist and Mental Health Counselor, the Registered Nurse Case Manager from the Women's Health Initiative (WHIN) Program provides culturally appropriate education to moms in specific zip codes in Palm Beach County. The Registered Nurse educates all families on toxic stress, stress management, healthy relationships, safe sleep, family planning, and breastfeeding through collaborative community partnerships funded by the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County.
