Virtual Childbirth Class

Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies provides free Childbirth Classes through the Florida Outreach Childbirth Education Program. The classes aim to prepare parents for the birth of their baby by covering such topics as labor and delivery, labor support techniques, breathing and relaxation, pain management, postpartum care, and C-Section information. Pregnant women typically attend these classes within the seventh month (third trimester) of their pregnancy. Support partners are also encouraged to join the class.

Each participant is encouraged to bring the following:

  • Two (2) pillows for each participant

  • One (1) blanket or comforter

Anne Mejeur, FOCEP, LCCE, IBCLC, RLC, has taught childbirth classes with Healthy Mother, Healthy Babies for over 30 years. She has been helping women breastfeed since 1975, through LaLeche League and as an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). She has a private practice in lactation. Anne enjoys working with young families as they prepare for childbirth and breastfeeding.
