It is important to establish an understanding of breastfeeding before the birth of your baby. A breastfeeding class can help you better understand how breastfeeding works and answer questions such as how to establish a healthy supply of breastmilk, how to help the baby latch etc. The instructor will Cover that and more. We will teach the benefits of breastfeeding for mom and baby, breastfeeding positions, using a breast pump, when to switch to solids and safe milk storage. We encourage you to come with questions and bring your partners as well.

Rosi Vera is a Prenatal Outreach Educator for Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies. She worked for ten years with Women and Children (WIC), helping women with breastfeeding. Rosi has two kids and is passionate about breastfeeding and educating the community on maternal health.
